“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”

Matthew 7:13-14

“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.” Revelation 3:20

  1. Jesus as the Gate has been on my heart all week — I actually blogged about it on Monday. Wow! So great to come across your post today.

  2. So true. And in our present world [probably not much different than others forever, but it seems a bit different] narrow is not considered OK. Narrow thinking is considered too picky and unloving, unaccepting. And, yet, focusing on the correct narrowness is extremely important. Thank you. And the photo is very nice.

  3. That’s a beautiful photo and a great reminder. Thank you.

  4. Oh the adventures that await through the gate! Being on His side of the fence… thanks for the reminder, and providing me a wonderful image to ponder on today.

    Praying for you today, friend!

  5. So beautiful to look at, to read and reread, remember and ponder. Thank you for this serene gift.
