“You heavens above, rain down righteousness; let the clouds shower it down. Let the earth open wide, let salvation spring up, let righteousness grow with it; I, the LORD, have created it.” Isaiah 45:8
“Healing rain is coming down
It’s coming nearer to this old town
Rich and poor, weak and strong
It’s bringing mercy, it won’t be long
Healing rain is coming down
It’s coming closer to the lost and found
Tears of joy, and tears of shame
Are washed forever in Jesus’ name
Healing rain, it comes with fire
So let it fall and take us higher
Healing rain, I’m not afraid
To be washed in Heaven’s rain”
from “Healing Rain” by Michael W. Smith
Have you been washed in the healing rain?

Oh, yes, I ‘ve been soaked! How glorious!
Oh, I just love this photo and verse, and the song too!
Perfect pairing! Love the reflection sun through the palm and on the pool, the drops sparkling on the window. Let the earth open wide!
I love how the LORD teaches so much about Himself through the elements in nature - and rain is one of my favorites. Thank you for this reminder, Christina.
I love this! Great picture and verse to go with it!
Oh yes I have!
I attended the online Saddleback Church service today to hear Nick Vujicic. His words truly touched my heart. I can not believe how emotional I still am.
“If I fail, I try again, again, and again.. If you fail, are you going to try again? If you can’t get miracle, become one”. Nick Vujicic
I love Sundays! Thank you for your wonderful words.
Oh Lord, let it rain! Love this…everything about it. The picture is a beautiful reflection of the light of God and the healing rain coming down. Love the song! Thanks for linking up!
Beautiful. Simply beautiful. Music soothes the soul in such a unique way. Thank you for encouragement for my spirit here.
Believe me, if His healing rain had not been poured on me, I would have been gone a long time ago… and not in any good way. It has overflowed my heart, soul, and spirit. And you and I must be a bit buried in Isaiah. So much of it pours into my heart, not necessarily “raining”, but the Word through his prophetic words truly hits me.
Beautiful, Christinal!! I welcome His healing rain … “I’m not afraid to be washed in Heaven’s rain”!! Also one of my favorite songs!!! Thank you for sharing this! Blessings~
