I love the way a camera freezes time. It can capture a moment that in real-time lasted merely a second. That moment becomes frozen for us to remember and enjoy forever.
I also love how a camera can narrow in on an object such as a face, a flower, or a butterfly passing by. Often, the background behind the face or flower might not be that interesting and zooming in makes the background disappear. A subject in a photo can look different whether the camera was zoomed in on it or not.
Our lives are often like a zoom lens. Our perspective is right here, right now.
Yet God sees the perspective of eternity.

everything zoomed in and seen through the eyes of eternity – this is a magically beautiful thought Christina. The analogy of the focus of the camera – and our focus. I’m reminded how we need to look at things through his eyes. How I need to see everything through the eyes of love. I need this reminder today – I always need this reminder. Thank you my friend. And God bless and keep you and each and every one of yours this day.
